Course Objective

In the course, it is aimed to introduce to ship electrical systems and fundamentals of basic electronic dealing with the ship.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have basic knowledge about electrical concepts
2   To have basic knowledge about generators which produce electicity,
3   To have knowledge on control room and electrical distribution systems,
4   To have basic knowlegde on motors, pumps, AC and DC electrical machines,
5   To have basic knowlegde about electronics ve communication systems.

Assessment Criteria

Basic knowledge of ship electrical and electronics systems, enough basic information for ship electrical systems and applications, required concepts and information related to many issues basically on electrical engineering, efficient and safe operations of the electrical systems and equipments will be evaluated
