Course Objective

To teach History of Religions main problems, methods and its relation with religious sciences; make a conscious about living world religions; introduce world religions in respect of their belief, ritual and ethical systems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   grasp differences in respect of view of point and method between traditional Islamic sciences and Religious Studies.
2   Learn History of Religions main issues, concepts and approaches.
3   Get an idea about living world religions historical developments and main features.
4   Can compare world religions in terms of certain characteristics.
5   nderstand similar and different aspects of Abrahamic Religions.
