Course Objective

To give a general understanding on the relation of Quran and linguistics; to provide the ability of comparing and contrasting mufassirs understanding of Quranic texts; to be aware of the existence of different approaches to Quran in terms of interpreting and understanding.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   will be able to understand the texts and the similarities between tafseer and linguistics
2   will enrich vocabulary.
3   Will be able to compare the interpretations of Quran to linguistic data.
4   Will learn phonology and the sequence of Quran words.
5   Will get satisfied knowledge on I'caz al-Quran
