Course Objective

The goal is for the student to gain a general understanding of Maturidism, to become familiar with renowned Maturidi theologians, and to acquire knowledge of their religious interpretations in the context of today. It also aims to develop the student's ability to understand and analyze classical Maturidi texts, while gaining knowledge of the literature related to Maturidism.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Studens will have general information about theological comments from early date to today;
2   They have historical information and a vision about teological process and tradition
3   They have historical information and a standpoint Maturidi theologians and their teological metods
4   They compare between Maturidi and the other theological schools
5   They can find new solutions moving from historical backgrounds.
6   They can analyze Arabic Maturidi texts.
