Course Objective

The Turkish nation has created many oral and written literary works since the day it emerged on the stage of history. Within this general literature, especially religious literature has an extremely important place. In this lesson; Information will be given about religious literature starting from pre-Islamic Turkish literature to the present day, the works created in this regard will be emphasized, and the important figures who created these works will be introduced to our students.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will have a general information on literature adventure of Turkish people.
2   Will recognize the relation of Turkish people with religion and their activities on religious literature in particular.
3   Will learn the important men of letters, poets, and authors wrote in the subject of religion.
4   Will learn a considerable part of the works created on religious literature.
5   Will discover the Islamic motives in modern literary works.
