Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understands the relationship between knowledge, its definition and belief, and the relationship between religion and science.
2   Understands that reason and science represent a fundamental value for all sciences.
3   Understands Islam's view of existence and what it means for science.
4   Understands the approach of religion to the existence of God and belief in fate and its evaluation in terms of reason and science.
5   Gains knowledge about the relationship between reason and religion in the context of Islam..

3 Sources and types of knowledge.
4 Methods of evidence and inference.
5 Relationship between knowledge and faith The nature of faith.
6 Understanding of existence in theology Rational rulings.
7 Proofs of God Cosmological evidence
8 Proofs of God and the unity of God Ontological evidence, moral evidence, religious experience evidence.
9 Divine attributes Understandings of the divine attributes in Kalam.
10 Relationship between God and universe I Creation.
11 Relationship between God and universe I Fate problem.
12 The issue of goodness-commandment in theology The problem of evil
13 Atonement-sustenance-prayer in terms of fate.
14 Atheism in terms of Kalam.
15 Final Exam.
