Course Objective

The primary objective of the course is to teach institutional relations between the legislative and executive branches, systems of government based on separation of powers and constitutional/democratic systems of government. Furthermore, teaching the effect of institutional, functional and personal separation between the legislative and executive branches on the systems of government is also one of the objectives of the course.


Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to analyze the institutional relations between the legislative and executive branches
2   To be able to analyze the effect of institutional, functional and personal separation between the legislative and executive branches on systems of government
3   To be able to learn the systems of government based on separation of powers and constitutional/democratic systems of government within the context of comparative constitutional law
4   To be able to have a good knowledge of the systems of government adopted in the Ottoman - Turkish constitutional orders
5   To be able to analyze the alterations made regarding the Turkish system of government under the Constitution of 1982 1982 Anayasası döneminde Türk hükümet sisteminde meydana gelen değişimleri analiz edebilme
