Course Objective

The basic aim of Current Issues of Family Law is provide, examination, analysis to basic Information adoption, custody and guardianship and to understand of function and importance about them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to explain the conception of adoption, custody and guardianship.
2   Be able to explain arrengement of Turkish Civil Code about adoption, custody and guardianship.
3   Be able to apply provisions about adoption, custody and guardianship.
4   Be able to interpratation of adoption, custody and guardianship within framework of arrangements for the statutory, doctrinel criticism and impretmentations problem.
5   Be able to identfy of shortcomings from the legal regulations of adoption, custody and guardianship law.

6 Current Problems Related to Adoption (Conditions for the Adoption of Minors, Adults and Restricted Persons and Developments in this Field)
7 Current Problems Related to Custody, Especially Joint Custody, Guardianship and Trusteeship
8 The Concept of Property Regime, The Function of Property Regime Rules, The Regulation of Property Regimes in our Civil Code, General Provisions on Property Regimes, Application Area of the Former Legal Property Regime
9 Optional Property Regimes (Separation of Property, Property Partnership, Shared Property Regimes)
10 Basic Features of the Acquired Property Participation Regime, Property Groups, Rights and Authorizations of the Spouses on their Property while the Regime is in Effect
11 Some Controversial Issues in the Acquired Property Regime
12 Receivables in the Liquidation of the Property Regime (Contribution Share Receivable - Value Increase Share Receivable - Participation Receivable)
