With the Hellenistic period, Macedonian King Alexander established a great kingdom that included the Greek city-states. In this period when the Persian invasion ended, the entire political structure in the Hellenistic kingdom was restructured. The Greeks are no longer ruled by Alexander. Continental Greece and other settlements became settlements connected to the Hellenistic kingdom. Along with the entire political structure, there have been radical changes in religion, ceramics, sculpture and architecture. In the Hellenistic Period Civilization I course, it is aimed that the students learn this new period with all its aspects, both socially and in terms of state administration. |
