Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students the basic concepts of language and speech development, development areas, factors affecting development and periods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To be able to comprehend the difference between language and speech
2   2. Learning speech and language development.
3   3. Distinguish between normal and non-normal speech and language development
4   4. Knowing the various factors that affect language development
5   5. Learning the periods of receptive and expressive language skills of healthy children
