Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with information about the biological evolution of language, the biological structures used in the production and perception of language, and how these structures develop.

1   To be able to list the stages of biological evolution of language
2   To be able to explain how the language organs evolved
3   To be able to explain the biological basis of language and thought.
4   To be able to explain the relationship between language and brain

1. LO 1-2 will be evaluated with a midterm exam and 3-4-5 with a final exam.
