Course Objective

The aim of this course is to identify the deviations arise in literary texts and teach how to read literary texts. Determining the most accurate transfer structure and lexical choices after the reading is another aim of this course.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Acquire required conceptual ant theoritical knowledge for literary translation.
2   2. Adapt the knowledge acquired in other courses into literary translation.
3   3. Translate individually and in a group.
4   4. Know and apply strategies and methods used in literary translation and develop new methods when required.
