Course Objective

The aim of the course is to ensure that pre-service teachers acquire a solid understanding of fundamental concepts and terminology related to disaster management and develop an awareness of their responsibilities in this field.

2   Analyzing how disaster education should be conducted
3   Acquiring knowledge about the stages of disaster management
4   Explaining the ethical principles that must be considered in disaster management
5   Understanding the structure of central and local administrations in Turkey from a disaster management perspective
6   Developing projects related to the implementation of disaster management practices
