Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the history of visual arts education and its reflection on the visual arts teaching and learning approaches and to provide awareness of current trends and issues.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know the history of visual arts education. 2   Know the purpose and basic principles of visual arts education. 3   Produce solutions to current problems in visual arts teaching. 4   Know the components of an effective visual arts education. 5   Gain the ability to look at visual arts from social, cultural, economic and other aspects.
