Course Objective

To be able to gain the knowledge and skills which necessary for analyzing the theoretical structure of music, to gain tonal hearing, to write one/two part dictation by listening on the piano, to hear triads and gain the skills on sigtreading.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains the basic knowledge about music and uses on musical hearing, reading and writing studies.
2   Gains tonal hearing.
3   Hears two part.
4   Understands the structure of a triad by listening on the piano.
5   Writes one and two part melody by listening on the piano.
6   Reads the tonal solfege pieces.
