Course Objective

To be able to use the elements of instructional technologies in teaching the Turkish Language and Literature courses and to enable the development of the features of instructional technologies, their place and use within the instruction process, of instructional materials (presentation files, visuality, worksheets, transparencies/overheads, slides, videos and computer based course material, etc.) through instructional technologies

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to grasp the developments observed in the field of education and the role of instructional technologies in the education process
2   Being able to identify the elements of communication process within the content of instructional technologies
3   Being able to comprehend the factors taking role in the selection of instructional material
4   Being able to comprehend the means and principles of visual design and to employ these principles in the material design
5   Being able to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the informatics components, media and materials used for instructional purposes and to use them effectively in the implementation process
6   Being able to grasp the criteria for evaluating the instructional materials
7   Being able to employ the design components suitable for the content of instruction in field education
