Course Objective

Purpose: To gain awareness about the concepts of lifelong learning and adulthood, to know the characteristics of adulthood, to assist in adult education and psychological counseling and guidance services to be offered to adults.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the basic concepts of adulthood.
2   Explain basic concepts with lifelong learning.
3   Discusses the characteristics of the adult development period.
4   Analyzes lifelong learning skills and competencies.
5   Discuss the importance of cultural sensitivity in adult education.
6   Designs psychological counseling and guidance services for adults within the scope of lifelong learning.
