Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide teacher candidates with theoretical and practical information about using children's games in social studies lessons.

4   To develop examples of the use of games in teaching social studies.

Assessment Criteria

In addition to the midterm and final exams, students are also required to prepare a homework/presentation. The content of the homework/presentation will be shared with the student during the course introduction in the first week of the course and the final version of the homework/presentation will be determined according to the status of the class.

Students should be prepared for the topics specified in the syllabus before coming to the classes. Attendance to 70% of the courses is compulsory.
