Course Objective

The aim of this course is to learn the basic features of Political Geography in relation to the Physical Geography and Human Geography and Understanding the importance of Türkiye in the world.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know the basic concepts of Political Geography.
2   Analyze the effects of physical and human geography on Political Geography.
3   Understand the importance of Geographical location features on Political Geography.
4   Recognize the features of world domination theories and analyze the today's world domination theories.
5   Identify the main political groupings in the world and in Türkiye assess the causes and consequences of grouping.
6   Identify the political problems in Türkiye and the world and to take responsibility for solving problems and sustainable development.
