Course Objective

Learning advantages and disadvantages of renewable energy resources, discussing energy potential and its availability in Türkiye and the world.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to define the fundamentals and main characteristics of renewable energy sources.
2   Be able to comprehend the energy production, energy conversion and more efficient use of energy resources.
3   Be able to comprehend the storage and use of renewable energy.
4   Be able to discuss the impact of renewable energy sources on nature.
5   The student decides which of the renewable energy sources should be preferred under the conditions found.
