Course Objective

The aim of this block is to acquire knowledge and skills in the fields of health risks, disease prevention and health promotion.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1 Explain basic principles of health risks, health promotion and health protection
2   2 Discuss community health level and the common diseases n the community
3   3 Discuss healthcare systems, health manpower, healthcare financing and social security
4   4 Discuss principles of health education and education of patient
5   5 Record findings of history and physical examination and discuss clinical reasoning

There is no Practical exam in this block.

Assessment Criteria

In the first 3 years, the student success was evaluated on a yearly basis as an annual grade out of 100 points. The passing point of the period is determined as 65 (sixty-five).
Average of block-end exams must be at least 50 (fifty) points.
