Course Objective


The aim of this block is to ensure that the normal structure and functions of the gastrointestinal system are remembered and the pathological mechanisms and diseases related to this system are understood.

2   Differential diagnosis of conditions causing acute abdomen
3   Conditions causing hepatosplenomagaly and their differential diagnosis
4   Pharmacology of drugs used in the treatment of gastrointestinal tract diseases
5   Absorption disorders due to gastrointestinal system diseases

Assessment Criteria

In all periods, the grades of success are evaluated over 100 (one hundred) full points. The passing score for the semester is determined as 60 (sixty).
