Course Objective

The aim of this course is to enable prospective teachers to gain scientific knowledge in the field of educational science, to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes towards the teaching profession, to introduce the guidance process and special education in schools with its main lines.

1   Defines the basic concepts of guidance.
2   Defines the basic concepts of special education.
3   Tells the characteristics of individuals in need of special education.
4   Explains the characteristics of families with children in need of special education.
5   Defines the role and function of the teacher in classroom guidance.
6   Explains models and approaches related to guidance.
