Course Objective

Knowledge about the thought system of antiquity and ancient philosophy, the four important epochs of Europe: "Enlightenment, Renaissance, Reformation, Humanism" and their thinkers as well as the most important German thinkers and their world views

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowledge of the ancient thought system and ancient philosophy
2   Recognize and learn the 4 important eras in Europe: "Enlightenment, Renaissance, Reformation, Humanism" and their thinkers.
3   Knowledge of the most important German thinkers and their worldviews
4   Learn the new thought structures developing today
