Course Objective

The aim is to enable students to develop learning-teaching strategies around images and their effective use in language teaching.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have the necessary knowledge about images and types of images.
2   Ability to understand image analysis approaches
3   Ability to understand basic strategies on how images are applied in teaching French
4   Be able to examine various visual languages based on image-image analysis of visual semiotics
5   Ability to analyze techniques for using images in teaching French
6   Ability to apply visual techniques and strategies used in teaching French.
