Course Objective

To have knowledge about traditional Turkish folk dances, to contribute to getting information about the rhythm, attitude and staging characteristics of these games.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To be able to comprehend dance and game concepts.
2   2. To be able to explain the historical development of Turkish folk dances.
3   3. Explain the functions of folk dances
4   4. To be able to learn music-clothing relations of Turkish folk dances.
5   5. Having knowledge about the manner of playing the folk dances of Turkish folk dances.
