Course Objective |
This course deals with the basics of artificial intelligence (AI) and its thematization in literature. After an introduction to the basic concepts and models of AI, the representation and discussion of AI in literary texts will be addressed. Both historical perspectives and current trends will be taken into account. The course aims to analyze the representation of AI in literary works of the 20th, 21st and 22nd centuries. In addition to media- and genre-specific narrative strategies, the possibilities and limits of the staging of AI will also be examined. In a practical session, participants will develop their own literary texts using AI tools. |
