Course Objective

It is aimed to gain knowledge and skills about the preparation of the patient, the operation area and the operator before surgical operations and the sterilization of the instruments and materials to be used.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have knowledge about antiseptics and disinfectants.
2   Have knowledge about sterilization of tools and materials.
3   Has knowledge about the preparation of the patient and the operation area for the operation and applies it.
4   Creates information and solution proposals on the subject.
5   Identifies and uses resources that will increase professional knowledge related to the subject.
