Course Objective

To improve students academic and professional communication skills by developing their ability to research, investigate, analyze and present current issues related to the fields of veterinary surgery.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learns by benefiting from the experiences of academicians who have knowledge, manners and experience in the scientific field.
2   Have knowledge about scientific ethics and work discipline.
3   Gains the ability to monitor and evaluate current literature.
4   Can understand the theoretical information including publications related to the thesis subject and follow the latest scientific developments.
5   Can scan articles related to the thesis topic and convert the thesis topic into a project.
6   Can write the thesis according to the spelling rules of the Institute.

8 Components of an effective seminar
9 Presentation preparation, use of visuals and effective communication techniques
10 Presenting the seminar topics prepared by the students and receiving feedback
11 Critical evaluation and discussion of student presentations
12 Evaluation of different perspectives
13 Final seminar presentations by the students
14 Collective evaluation of seminars and review of learning outcomes
