Course Objective

The purpose of teaching the subject is to form a knowledge base by instilling in students the diversity of animals living in the territory of Azerbaijan, their distribution in nature and comparative morphological analysis in general.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know how to characterize the characteristic features of the fauna of Azerbaijan
2   Students knows and can analyze the way of life and distribution of animals living in the territory of Azerbaijan, its diversity. Students is able to apply this knowledge in pedagogical, field practices and in life.
3   Students knows how to determine the systematic state of animals by visually recognizing them in their natural environment;
4   Azerbaijan is taking measures implemented by the state and population for the protection of animals;
5   Students evaluates, and analyzes the features of the living environment in the territory of Azerbaijan.
