Course Objective

The essence of physiological biochemical processes related to plant physiology of students, the development of experimental and mental thinking on the basis of the knowledge gained, analysis, comparison, concretization, development of research skills, etc. to ensure that they gain practical practical skills on problems such as

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To ensure the Coordination of theoretical and practical skills in teaching plant physiology.
2   Demonstration of results using the interaction of the sciences of Biochemistry, Biophysics, cytology when conducting research on the composition of plants.
3   Photosynthesis, respiration of plants, growth, development, etc. to validate the habits of applying and extracting heads on different plants related to the issues.
4   Generalization of the results obtained on the topics, coordination of knowledge.
5   To evaluate students by convincing them of their knowledge and skills gained on the basis of perception, Application, Analysis and synthesis.

1 To get acquainted with the specialty laboratory. Preparation for practice, requirements for the performance of work.
2 The cell as an osmotic system. The case of Plasmolysis and deplasmolysis.
3 Observation of the turgor phenomenon in the plant cell.
4 Determination of catalase enzyme activity in leaves of elodea (elodea) plant.
5 Separation of pigments from the green leaf by the Kraus method.
6 The effect of light on the intensity of the photosynthesis process. (Counting gas bubbles)
7 Formation of starch in the light.
8 Overview
9 Comparative study of transpiration in the lower and upper part of the leaf by chlorine-cobalt (CoCl2) method.The study of the antagonism of ions in water culture.
10 Determination of heat resistance of plants.
