Course Objective

Course Objective: It teaches students the basics of primary care in case of diseases, their formation and treatment, injuries, injuries. Students are taught human anatomy and physiology. Changes in the body during various diseases are taught. Also, the rules for caring for patients in pathological cases are explained how to carry out medications, other procedures. The purpose of teaching the discipline is to teach students the rules for caring for patients, timely and correct delivery of prescribed medicinal substances, diets, other procedures. In addition, it is explained in what diseases and how to put the thermometer, enema, heater. The habits of measuring heart tones, temperature, arterial pressure are taught.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student must learn to measure Arterial pressure, pulse, body temperature.
2   Student must know the rules of first aid in diseases of the respiratory and cardiovascular system.
3   In diseases of the digestive system in acute poisoning, the patient should know first aid.
4   Student must know the types of drugs, the order in which they are given and the complications of drugs.
5   Student needs to study the types of wounds, the rules for caring for them.
6   Student must know the rules for laying dressings. organization and conduct of work).
7   In case of hemorrhages, the patient must know how to provide first aid.
8   Student should study the organization and tasks of the medical service of civil defense, the first and specialized medical care.
9   Know the rules of first aid during electro-injuries, burns.
10   Student must know the procedure for the correct approach to the injured in bone fractures. Students must know how to provide first aid in case of dislocations and other injuries.
11   In case of infectious diseases, the patient must learn the rules of care.
12   Student must know the basics of human anatomy and physiology.

1 Cells and tissues. Fundamentals of human anatomy and physiology. Movement support system. Cardiovascular system. Blood and lymphatic system. Respiratory system.
2 Digestive and endocrine system (endocrine glands). Urinary genital systems. Energy metabolism. Nervous system, sensory members. Fundamentals of higher nervous system activity. Organism as a complete unit.
3 Types of drugs, their effect on the body. Ways of entry and excretion from the body.
4 Narcotic and non-narcotic substances. Sedatives. Substances that work against microbes. Antibiotics. Cardiac glucosides. Substances affecting blood clotting.
5 The essence of patient care. Body temperature, pulse, a/t, respiration, their determination. Personal hygiene of the patient. Measures affecting blood circulation.
6 Nutrition of patients. Health and disease. Diseases of the respiratory and cardiovascular system.
7 Diseases of the digestive and endocrine system. Nervous mental disorders.
8 General repetition
9 Urgent first aid in acute poisoning. Fundamentals of Epidemiology. Immunity. AIDS. Vaccination work.Intestinal infections.
10 Respiratory tract infections. Blood infections.
11 Children's infections. Anthropozoonosis infections.
12 Aseptics and antiseptics. Desmurgy. Transport imoblization. Pain relief. Resuscitation in medical evacuation.
13 Bleeding. Transfusion of blood and blood substitutes. Injury shock.
14 Burns, frostbite, electrocution. Bone fractures. Head-neck, spinal column injuries. Mixed and associated injuries. Prolonged compression syndrome. Injuries. Open and closed injuries. Organization, tasks, principles of activity of the Civil Defense Medical Service. First aid, specialized medical care.
