Course Objective

To gain the basic subjects of biology and botany science, to teach basic metabolic pathways in cells, functional and structural features of cell organelles, different plant tissue types and organs anatomy, reproduction of different plant groups, classification of the living organisms.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the definitions and basic concepts related to the living world.
2   Explain and compare prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells.
3   Comprehend the structural and functional features of the plant organization and associate them with each other.
4   Examine the functioning of living events in plants and their relations with other living organisms.
5   Explain how organisms are classified.
