Course Objective

To study the language of the Russian and Turkish press, differences in language usage, monitoring contemporary written, audio and visual media, creating a vocabulary used in the press and media by doing translation exercises

2   2. Recognize translation methods and techniques of various types of spoken and written language.
3   3. Learn about scientific approach to translation science and types of translation.
4   4. Understanding the features of translation.
5   5. Explain linguistic concepts and theories used in translation criticism.
