Course Objective

Gain knowledge of basic concepts related to clinical decision making in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Understands cardiovascular problems and patient-specific physiotherapy, rehabilitation evaluation and selection and application of treatment methods in the clinical decision-making process through case studies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gain knowledge of the basic concepts of clinical decision-making and problem-based case studies in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
2   Determines the goals for the problem in physiotherapy rehabilitation of cardiovascular patients and selects the specific evaluation and treatment methods for the goals.
3   Uses evidence-based information, patient outcome measures, and self-knowledge in clinical decision making and research planning.
4   Fulfills ethical and legal requirements while interacting with individuals with cardiovascular disease, their families, and health professionals.
