Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the selected sample works of art comparatively and in depth based on general art knowledge and information. Through the comparative examination of the selected works of art, it is aimed to show the students the change of artists and their works, the difference of their technical features and to enable them to comprehend and analyze the connection between the works of art. While analyzing the works; to create an understanding of comparative interpretation and criticism through approaches based on differences, to see the effect of changes in social, economic, cultural and intellectual structures on the creation of the work of art constitutes the content of this course.
