Course Objective

To learn about the chronological approaches in the politics followed in sports during the Republic period, development plans, sports councils, government programs and sports policies and approaches in the programs of political parties

1   Explain the relationship between sports and politics.
2   Interprets the general features of Turkish Sports Policy.
3   Interpret the sports policies in development plans.
4   Interpret the sport policies in government programs.
5   Provides information about sports policies.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lecture, whole class and small group discussions, use of audio-visual materials, question-answer sessions, cooperative learning (some lessons will be practical and all class participation will be included.

Midterm and final exams will be theoretical, homework will be in the form of a presentation.

Participation is mandatory. Opinion notes will be used for students who regularly attend and participate in the course.
Students who break the harmony of the lesson during the lesson will be asked to leave the lesson before continuing.
Their phones will be kept off during the lesson.
It is important to arrive at the lesson on time. Necessary sensitivity should be shown in this regard.
