Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to enable students to comprehend the importance of palliative and end-of-life care, to discuss care models, to realize the role of nurses in planning advanced end-of-life care that can be given to oncology patients, and to help individuals and families prepare for the upcoming death. |

Assessment Criteria |
- In this course, the student is responsible for developing educational material for the patient and his family by using developmental theories, individual and family education principles, and innovations in the nursing care of the oncology patient. It will be considered as a midterm exam. |
