Course Objective

The aim of this course is to plan the care of an individual who is diagnosed with cancer and is in the treatment process,
to be able to carry out, to integrate initiatives for the solution of problems that may occur into care, to provide counseling to the individual and his family during the treatment and rehabilitation process of the patient.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to plan the care of cancer patients and their families with a holistic approach
2   Knowing the emergency situations of oncology patients and discussing their management
3   To be able to comprehend the importance of the rehabilitation process in the care of the oncology patient.
4   To be able to use the principles of approach to oncology patients and their families in the clinical field based on their knowledge
5   Being able to plan and give trainings according to the needs of the patient and his family
