Course Objective

The objective of this course is to question the relationship among gender, working and family and to provide students the ability to evaluate practices which enables the gender equality in working life.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To explain the relationship among gender, working and family
2   To discuss problems related with family and working life in terms of women
3   To evaluate womens working conditions in different sectors and industries
4   To discuss the effects of the change in economic, social and cultural structures on women employment
5   Being able to analyse current problems in gender and working

1. Students are obligated to participate 70% of the lectures
2. All kinds of plagiarism and attempt of plagiarism shall be concluded by disciplinary punishment
3. Students supposed to read the materials before lecture and participate the classroom discussions
4. Students are expected to make presentations about the subjects given by the lecturer.
