Course Objective

To contribute to the development of medical law by evaluating the legal basis of compensation responsibility arising from medical intervention and malpractice and related theoretical and practical aspects.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To learn the legal legislation on compensation liability arising from medical intervention and malpractice.
2   To learn the basics of responsibility in a controversial way with theoretical and judicial decisions.
3   To be able to comprehend determination of compensation, the reasons for deduction from compensation and understand the results of compensation.
4   To be able to master theoretical and practical applications related to informed consent and to understand their place in Supreme Court decisions.
5   To understand and comprehend rights within the scope of patient and physician rights.
