Course Objective

The importance of liability insurance made by physicians is increasing day by day. It is obligatory to have this insurance under general conditions in this field. Damages caused by the wrong intervention of the physician can reach very high amounts. Moreover, the damages that occur are not limited to material damages, and in case of death of the patient or his / her relatives, they experience serious moral damage. This damage is also requested from the physician. If the physician pays both material and moral damages, it can cause his economic destruction. The aim of the course is to explain the advantages of this insurance, which is compulsory, which risks are guaranteed, and the advantage of the insurer on the responsibility of the insurer.

1   Having general information about liability insurance
2   Having sufficient information about the properties of liability insurance made by physicians, why the risk is in this insurance area, the rights of the insured and the damaged third party against the insured.
