Course Objective

Elaboration of the filmic narration on the basis of the first period analysis and the scenario with the representation/practical studies. Diversification of basic cinematic techniques in the process of creating meaning and visually communicating the scenario to the audience. Introduction to the complex techniques of film management. The student's understanding of the effect of crowd shots and the moving camera on the storytelling process. Demonstrating the effect of fiction on creating meaning. Transforming the project from a simple film into a complex work with different shooting techniques.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Compare his/her approach with the film director s style
2   2. Review the approaches of other students in the class.
3   3. Question the term style and take the first steps to determine his/her own style.
4   4. Learn the tips of the cinematographic language
5   5. Get experienced about direction of a film.
6   6. Realize the significance of cinematic devices, materials , equipment etc. for creating a cinematic language.
