Course Objective

i- It includes the evaluation and comparison of classical narrative cinema through different national and cultural examples.
ii- The Narrative Based on the fact that it gained popularity with the films based on it and reached large audiences; It enables the dramatic structure, which is used in both genre cinema and more independent productions, to be understood in terms of its origins,
iii- Evaluates comparatively the examples of the classical narrative method that can lead to reproducible and creative cinema by making evaluations on the examples of classical structure and deconstruction in cinemas of different countries,
iv- He/she becomes competent by evaluating the subject he/she covers through seminars through reference books and films.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to comprehend classical narrative cinema,
2   To be able to analyze the narrative structure through national-cultural film examples,
3   Comparative evaluation of reference books and examples of classical narrative cinema,
4   With seminar studies on the subject; be aware of the situation by making scientific research and presentation,
5   In addition to the stereotypical and reproducible features of classical narrative cinema, being able to direct her own works by detecting the aspects that are open to creativity, transforming this knowledge in applied fields in different branches based on theoretical knowledge.
