Course Objective

Making adaptations to the screenplay by making use of not only literary genres but also photography, painting and music. While making these adaptations, adapting them to the language of cinema without disturbing the main idea and theme of the original work, instead of one-to-one adaptations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learning the techniques of adaptation from literary works to cinema.
2   Edebi eserlerin dışında fotoğraf, müzik ve resim gibi alanlardan sinema diline uyarlama yapması.
3   Developing methods in which creativity will be used instead of one-to-one adaptation.
4   To be able to understand the distinction between the language of cinema and the languages of other art disciplines.
