Course Objective

The aim of the Road Transportation course is to equip students with knowledge and practical skills about road transportation, which is important for international trade and business and provides facility with its door-to-door transportation advantage. Throughout this course, students will gain a deep understanding of the characteristics of road transportation, its legal framework, highway infrastructures, highway corridors, and the situation of road transportation in Türkiye and the world in terms of sustainable economic development. By the end of the training, students will be competent in planning and managing road transportation in the fields of international trade and business under conditions suitable for environmental and climate change, choosing the most appropriate routes in terms of cost and accessibility, and will contribute to the development and efficient use of the sector by mastering the concepts of road transportation.
