Course Objective

Business information systems is a course focused on the role of information technologies (IT) in today's businesses, its organizational, technological and managerial dimensions, its contribution to cooperation and teamwork, and its impact on gaining competitive advantage.

The aim of this course is to understand the role of information technologies in contemporary organizations, the information technology infrastructures needed, and to learn to manage the social and ethical problems they cause.
