Course Objective

This course, which can be considered as an introduction to Information Technologies (IT), focuses on the evolution of information technologies over time, the history of the internet, the digital divide, IT and labor markets, open source software and their place in the business world.

This course aims to discuss the social dimensions of information technologies (IT) in the business world, the effects of new technologies on business models and the problems they cause in business life.
