Course Objective

The aim of the Turkiye-Eurasian Business Relations course is to equip students with knowledge and practical skills about Turkiye's economic and commercial relations with the countries of the Eurasian region. Throughout this course, students will gain a deep understanding of the size, scope and content of Turkiye's economic and commercial relations with Eurasian countries, especially the former USSR countries. By the end of the course, students will be competent in the legal basis, management, advantages and disadvantages of relations between Turkiye and the Eurasia region in fields covering international trade and business, and will contribute to the conduct of these relations based on mutual interests.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1.To define Turkiye's business relations with the Eurasian region.
2   2.To understand the importance of Turkiye's business relations with the Eurasian region.
3   3.To understand the legal framework of Turkiye's business relations with the Eurasian region.
4   4.To examine Turkiye's business relations with the Eurasian region on a country basis.
5   5.To examine Turkiye's business relations with the Eurasian region on the basis of regional economic blocks.
6   6.To examine Turkiye's business relations with the Eurasian region on the basis of transportation corridors.
7   7.To examine Turkiye's business relations with the Eurasian region on the basis of energy corridors.
