Course Objective

To emphasize the significance of African-American music and its traces in American literature, to build up a music-literature cooperation

2   comprehend the significance of African-American music in American literature
3   relate literature to music and vice versa
4   compare and contrast the works of . African-American artists in a historical perspective
5   distinguish elements of blues in the works of African-American writers
